Hard Pill (Poem)

A bitter pill, a truth so stark,
Gaza’s anguish piercing the dark.
No solace found, no helping hand,
In the turmoil, where do we stand?

Powerful nations turn away,
Ceasefire denied hearts in dismay.
Gaza’s plea, a cry in the night,
Unheard echoes dimming the light.

God, lend your grace to those in need,
Gaza’s people are in pain they bleed.
Humanity’s heart holds Palestine near,
In prayers whispered, in every tear.

History’s pages, forever imprinted,
Gaza’s struggle was never omitted.
In the hearts of those who care,
Gaza, your plight, we’ll always bear.

May peace find a way through this strife,
May hope emerge from the depths of life.
Gaza, know you’re not alone,
In our prayers, your story’s sown.
