The LORD loves justice, His arms wide,
With His saints, forever He’ll abide.

The wicked may spread like a tree in its prime,
But their time is short, just a moment in time.
While the righteous, rooted in faith so deep,
Inherit the land, their promises to keep.

The ways of the righteous, the ways of the wicked,
One path to light, the other, darkness depicted.
In the LORD’s hands, the righteous find their strength,
The wicked’s end is, sure, cut off at length.

Wisdom and judgment, from the righteous lips,
The law of their God, their hearts’ eclipse.
Though the wicked watch and seek to harm,
The LORD protects the just from alarm.

Wait on the LORD, in His way persevere,
The land will be yours as the wicked disappear.
The great power of the unjust, like chaff in the wind,
Sought after, yet gone, their sins unpinned.

I’ve seen the righteous, in their struggle and pain,
Yet their faith in the LORD forever remains.
For the LORD is their fortress, in trouble their aid,
Delivering them from the shadow the wicked have laid.

The ways of the righteous, the ways of the wicked,
One path in the light, their fate so vivid.
Salvation comes from the LORD, their guide,
In His love and mercy, they’ll always confide.

Mark the man of peace, behold the upright stand,
For their end is peace in the promised land.
The wicked will vanish, their names erased,
