Light and Truth (Poem)

In the depths of night, where shadows loom,
I call upon Your light to pierce the gloom.
Send forth Your truth, a beacon bright,
Guide me to Your presence, in Your holy light.
Lead me on the path where Your glory shines,
To the altar of God, where Your love entwines.
For in Your presence, I find my delight,
My soul sings praises in Your holy site.
I am one with You, O Lord, my God,
Bound by Your grace, by Your staff and rod.
I stand as Your oracle, Your vessel true,
To speak Your truth in all that I do.
So send Your light and truth, O Lord divine,
Illuminate my path, make Your presence mine.
For at Your altar, I find my joy complete,
In Your love and mercy, my soul finds its seat.
