Evil Practise Hates Light (Poem)

Light descends upon the earth,
Piercing through the shadows’ birth,
Yet hearts retreat to darkness’ fold,
Afraid of what the light has told.
In the night, their secrets lie,
Hidden from the prying eye,
For in the dark, they find disguise,
To mask their deeds, to weave their lies.
Evil practice hates the light,
It fears the truth; it shuns the sight,
Of actions laid bare, pure and bright,
Revealing all within its might.
Yet those who walk in truth’s embrace,
Stand unafraid, face to face,
With light that shines, with light that shows,
The path of love, the path that grows.
Darkness may allure the soul,
With promises of hidden goals,
But in its depths, there lies a snare,
A prison built on fear and care.
For every shadow hides a cost,
A piece of self, a part that’s lost,
But light will heal, will bring to dawn,
The peace of mind, the burdens gone.
Come to the light, let shadows flee,
In clarity, find purity,
For in the light, true freedom’s found,
Where love and truth are forever bound.
Evil practice hates the light,
But in its glow, we find our sight,
To see the world as it should be,
In truth, in God, eternally free.
