The world is lost in their pride and their schemes,

Chasing after darkness, losing their dreams.

Their eyes are open, but they choose not to see,

Hearts growing cold, turning from Thee.

They twist the truth, call the evil good,

Playing with lies like no one should.

They substitute bitter for the sweet,

Trapped in their pride, they face defeat.

To call them back, make the broken whole.
