I Know (Poem)

I know your voice, Lord, as you lead me on,
I know your voice, in the rise of dawn.
Through valleys deep and mountains high,
You whisper softly, and I reply.

The voice of a stranger, manipulator, deceit,
I’ll never follow nor dance to their beat.
Your truth, my compass, in every storm,
I know your voice, Lord you keep informed.

I know your voice, Lord, as you show me the way,
You teach me to profit, you guide me every day.
You lead me through paths I’d never have known,
With wisdom and love, your ways have been shown.

You give me peace like a river so wide,
That flows with grace, where I safely abide.
Your righteousness rolls like waves from the sea,
It crashes through fear, and sets my soul free.

With a voice of singing, I lift up your name,
Declaring your goodness, proclaiming your fame.
From the ends of the earth to the heavens above,
I sing of your mercy, I speak of your love.

I know your voice, Lord, you have spoken to me,
You’ve shown me your ways, your plans, your decree.
You’ve prospered my hands, blessed my path,
And led me to streams that forever last.

So, I give you the praise and all the glory,
For each step you’ve guided, in my life’s story.
I know your voice, Lord, and I thank you today,
For speaking so clearly and showing your way.
