Ethical Covenant (Poem)

In a world where morals seem to fade,
Where truth is bent, and values frayed,
Before we step into any tie,
Be it business, love, or Religious /spiritual sky,
Let us form a covenant, clear and strong,
A bond of ethics where we belong.
A promise of standards we all uphold,
Guided by principles, honest and bold.
No place for deceit, no room for lies,
We draw this line, under open skies.
In trust, we forge this sacred pact,
With values that keep our honor intact.
For if this covenant’s ever broken,
By words untrue or promises unspoken,
The bond dissolves, annulled and torn,
As integrity fails and trust is worn.
Ethical covenant is the way forward, I believe,
A path where accountability must weave.
Let those who falter in their way,
Feel the weight of what they betray.
For in this covenant, we stand as one,
But if you stray, the bond’s undone.
So let us hold each other high,
With ethics firm beneath the sky.
In every association we embrace,
Let integrity be the guiding grace.
An ethical covenant we must uphold,
In a world where truth is worth more than gold.
