The Mark and the Seal – Be Warned (Poem)

Upon the brow, a mark is placed,
A seal of choice, a life embraced.
One mark for God, a sacred sign,
A pledge to walk in love divine.
On Cain, a mark, both curse and shield,
God’s mercy shown, His justice revealed.
A sign to spare, though sin had stained,
A lesson in wrath, yet grace remained.
The seal of God, so pure, so bright,
Marks those who stand in Heaven’s light.
Upon their foreheads, a holy claim,
A life surrendered to His name.
It signals trust in sovereign might,
A heart aligned with what is right.
To those who bear this sacred crest,
Eternal life, eternal rest.
But beware the mark of the beast,
A sign of souls by darkness seized.
On hand or brow, it boldly shows,
The path of sin, the heart that chose.
It’s not just ink or earthly scar,
But allegiance sworn to powers afar.
Rejecting God, embracing strife,
A choice of death, the loss of life.
The Scriptures warn of torment’s flame,
For those who bear this damning name.
In fire and brimstone, their fate is sealed,
God’s holy wrath will be revealed.
No rest, no peace, forevermore,
A chasm wide, no crossing shore.
The mark of the beast, a grave demand,
To serve the devil, reject God’s hand.
Eternal choices, plain and clear,
To walk with faith or bow to fear.
The seal of God, a promise true,
Of endless life and mercies new.
But take the mark, and hell awaits,
Its gates swing wide for those who hate.
The Lamb has warned, His love extends,
But justice comes, as judgment sends.
Be wise, dear soul, in paths you tread,
For marks and seals declare what’s ahead.
Choose life, choose Christ, the narrow way,
And find His light at break of day.
For on the brow, the truth is shown,
To whom you bow, to whom you’re known.
The mark or seal will tell your part,
A destiny sealed by your heart.
