Am Not Fighting It (Poem)

Hey girl, how you doing,

Thoughts of you, through my mind brewing.

They cross the plains of my mind’s vast space,

But I’m not fighting it; I embrace the pace.

I don’t dwell on them, nor do I chase,

Understanding every time, every place,

Has its season, its unique grace,

In this journey, I let things fall into place.

Life’s intricacies, I’ve come to see,

With wisdom, I navigate, let it be.

Enemies may scheme with familiar faces,

But I’m steadfast, avoiding their mazes.

I’ve learned the tricks, the illusions they cast,

Using the ones I’m fond of, a shadow they cast.

But wisdom is my shield, my guiding mast,

Ensuring these thoughts, in light, are vast.

So, I’m letting you know, with a heart sincere,

I’m not fighting off the thoughts I hold dear.

In the grand tapestry, everything is clear,

I let go, let God, without any fear.
