Anoint Your Eyes (Poem)

Anoint your eyes to see deception’s subtle guise,
Don’t let them weave their tales; don’t buy their wicked lies.
Cast those demons into the depths, let them drown in the sea,
Be cautious of the trust you give; discernment holds the key.

Take time to reflect on those around you, their motives, their intent,
For Judas often lurks nearby, disguised and malevolent.
The world grows darker by the hour, a shadow in its core,
In this uncertain realm we tread, trust in yourself even more.

Be wise, my friend, but still, don’t close your heart’s embrace,
When genuine, love and trust bring warmth to life’s cold space.
Anoint your eyes with wisdom’s oil; let truth be your guiding star,
In this complex world, stand strong, just as you are.

Faithful followers of Jesus Christ watch and pray – we are in dark times. Trust NO-ONE until they show themselves trustworthy. They must earn our TRUST.
