Authority over all the power of the enemy.

If I ever had the opportunity to preach the Word of God, my focus would be spiritual warfare, the reason is simple, my encounter with this wickedness began as a child and then I didn’t even know what it was, only that it was an evil attack during one’s sleep at night.

After my spirit got born again, then the Lord/ Holy Spirit began to reveal a lot of the darkness and evil in the world we live in.

I don’t know if I can call myself an expert, but am pretty clued up to how the evil folks flow, such people are everywhere, and yes even in some Churches, which is very sad but it’s just the way it is.

One day I will share my testimony, when the Holy Spirit gives me the go-ahead, as a matter of fact, I truly believe I was meant to encounter all this ( witchcraft attacks) for a couple of reasons.

1. To help other people.
We can never help other people or be a blessing to others if we have never experienced what they are facing. The great Apostle Paul received most of his revelation from what he experienced.
There are two types of preachers in my opinion.

a. Textbook Preacher b. Revelation through Experience Preachers.

I will always want to listen to the latter ( Revelation through Experience Preachers) because they preach with authority which comes from what they had to overcome.

2. Witness the Power of God first hand.
In Luke 10:17
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
17 The seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name!

18 And He said to them, I saw Satan falling like a lightning [flash] from heaven.

19 Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.

20 Nevertheless, do not rejoice at this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are enrolled in heaven.

Key points for me are that God has given us authority over all the power of the enemy( Kingdom of darkness). However, with our precious faith ( Christianity) we have to work it. It takes diligence, discipline to acquire the Power of God, we need to be skill-full, and we must have the know how.

Just like having a gym membership, if you don’t exercise, you probably won’t get fit, likewise the Christian Faith, just being a Christian doesn’t mean we can flow how Jesus and the early Church operated, the Power comes from prayer and spending time in God’s presence.

Finally, Engaging in dark magic is dangerous, so to those that do witchcraft and all the evil stuff, what you do could cost you dearly, people suffer from lack of knowledge and ignorance.

Jesus Christ is Lord, demons tremble at the mention of His Name, There is POWER in the name of my PRECIOUS SAVIOUR – JESUS CALLED THE CHRIST. Amen.
