Cause and Effect (Rap)

Save the Children

(Verse 1)
Yo, in Gaza’s scene, a tragic play,
Children lost, innocence blown away.
Cause and Effect: it’s bound to ignite,
Innocents pay for man’s ego, a blight.

Why must the innocent bear the weight?
Man’s pride, a cost too high, too great.
Peace, a puzzle, hard to piece,
Four thousand lives lost a ceasefire’s release.

Leaders need a spiritual sight,
Foresight to end this ongoing fight.
Four thousand voices, a cry in the night,
Ceasefire now; let’s make it right.

(Verse 2)
Living in peace seems a distant goal,
Innocent lives paying a cruel toll.
Leadership lacks the spiritual view,
To mend this horror, to start anew.

Four thousand babies lost, a haunting toll,
Their stories were silenced, their dreams on hold.
Call for a ceasefire, let’s break this chain,
End this sorrow; cease this pain.

Why’s it hard to find a peaceful zone?
Why must innocence be overthrown?
Four thousand babies lives, a plea in the night,
Ceasefire now; let’s turn this plight.

Cause and Effect, it’ll unfold,
In this tale of terror, too often told.
But at this moment, let wisdom rise,
Ceasefire now, let the healing prize.

(Verse 3)
The world watches, eyes filled with pain,
Children’s lives lost, it’s all in vain.
Leaders need vision, a spiritual call,
To end this tragedy, to break this fall.

Four thousand babies, a staggering cost,
Their cries echo, their innocence lost.
Ceasefire’s plea, let it ring strong,
Let peace reign; let’s right this wrong.

Why do the innocent have to pay?
Ceasefire now; let’s find a way.
Four thousand babies, a plea so sincere,
For a world where peace is crystal clear.
