Changes (Poem)

If you’ve been on this earth for a while, you’ll see,

Nothing stays the same, not even you or me.

We live in a world that’s forever in motion,

Where time brings change like waves in the ocean.

The biggest change we witness is in people’s hearts,

Folks you were once close to now drift apart.

Maybe they took advantage or cheated you blind,

Or perhaps you uncovered the plots they designed.

You did the right thing by choosing to forgive,

But things have changed; that’s just how we live.

And that’s okay, it’s part of the flow,

For chapters end, and new ones grow.

In life’s book, we turn the page,

Starting fresh, stepping off the stage.

With every change comes a new way to see,

A chance to learn, to grow, to be free.

So remember, change is just part of the game,

It’s life’s way of never staying the same.

Welcome the new, and let the old pass by,

Embrace the change, and reach for the sky.

Learn from the past, but don’t hold it tight,

For changes come, bringing new light.

They’re for the better, a fresh start to make,

A new path to walk, new chances to take.

So let’s embrace the changes with open arms and heart,

For they are the rhythms, the beats of life’s art.

With every new chapter, we find something true,

A different perspective, a whole world anew.
