If you’ve been on this earth for a while, you’ll see,

Nothing stays the same; it’s a changing sea.

We live in a world that’s forever turning,

Where yesterday’s friends become distant yearning.

The biggest change we feel is in people’s hearts,

Folks you were once close to, now they drift apart.

Maybe they took advantage or played you wrong,

You found out their plot, and now you’re moving on.

You did the right thing by forgiving the pain,

But things can’t be the same, and that’s okay to maintain.

Chapters end, and new ones start,

A new rhythm, a second chance.

Let’s welcome the new, let go of the past,

Embrace the changes, and make the moment last.

Life is a journey with twists and turns,

We live, we learn, and somethings burn.

But every end is a new beginning,

A chance to rewrite, to keep on winning.

The people who hurt you, the ones who strayed,

Taught you lessons in life, and that’s okay.
