Changing Gears (Poem)

In a world of Kindness, hearts aglow, where love’s gentle rivers endlessly flow, yet flexibility’s wisdom, we must embrace, as life’s rhythm shifts, we change our pace.

For in a heartbeat, we must transform from gentle warmth to courage’s storm, Kindness can be seen as a fragile guise, But in swift Change, toughness will arise.

Though love and Kindness we proudly display, beware, for some hearts might lead astray; humans may misjudge, take your grace for naught, and Tread wisely as paths through life are sought.

Listen to your heart; its whispers hold the key; in its depths, the truth of people’s decree, Ask, and it shall reveal the lowdown truth, Obey its counsel in actions you pursue.

Beware the wiles, manipulation’s art; some may use magic to control your heart But stand vigilant, with knowledge and care; their spells of deceit, you’re destined to bear.

In every moment, know what to do for each situation; wisdom’s path is true; you’re the most important star in this play, Balancing meekness and strength each day.

Like a lamb, be humble, gentle, and kind, yet like a lion, boldness in your mind; the world’s shadows deepen, darkness unfurls, Zero tolerance reigns for those who twirl.

One strike, they’re dismissed, and off they go; in your heart’s sanctuary, love’s light shall glow; loving and tough, you navigate the fray, Changing gears, adapting with each new day.

Different gears for different souls you meet, A rhythm that’s fluid, a dance that’s sweet, Slow for those deserving a patient touch, fast for the resilient, the ones who clutch.

So remember, in life’s ever-turning wheel, Admire love’s beauty, but also stay steel, Change in the moment, adapt and stride; in the symphony of existence, let your gears be your guide.
