The Word of God to a Christian is considered the truth, some have the head knowledge of this truth but what makes a difference is knowing this truth in and from our hearts and truly believing it.
I know someone who is a Pastor ( knew this person before he became a Pastor) and is a walking bible and I find this so refreshing. As the enemy will attack us based on our knowledge of the Word of God, I must confess sometimes we don’t fully understand who we are in Christ.
It’s vital that Christians fellowship in the word of God as it brings the lights and makes the Word Alive. Bible study is essential for our growth and our next level in God. We can never know it all, and sometimes there is a tendency to forget what we once knew.
This Pastor friend of my mine has so much knowledge in the Word of God, and confidence, and I appreciate that. It’s our knowledge of the Word and our application of it that makes us dangerous Christians.
I certainly think regular group bible study is essential in this day and age, as the more we are in the Word of God, the more equipped we would be for battle. Personally, I prefer the study of the Word with fellow Christians than all the Christian activities.
I also noticed with all today’s technology; there is the possibility that people could get unproductively busy. If a Christian is not careful, a person could get distracted. This could eventually lead to being lazy, in the time we spend in God’s presence.
With the Word of God, we have to realize that we must activate it. God’s Word is not automatic, it has to be in our hearts and in our mouth. We MUST consistently speak God’s Word.
It’s what’s in our heart and what comes out of our mouth that changes things, and honestly, that’s part of how Christian POWER is derived.
We have to call things forth from the spirit world, just how God spoke the universe into existence, we have to speak things into existence – imitating God.
Until next time, Keep Believing, Keep Hoping & Keep Loving.
Peace.Daniel
