Covenant of Peace (Poem)

In the presence of God, there’s a peace that flows,
A stillness that deepens as the spirit grows.
It’s a promise, a covenant sealed in love,
A gift from the Father, sent from above.

Though mountains may crumble and hills disappear,
His love stays constant, ever so near.
For His word will stand when all else fades,
His covenant of peace through storms and shades.

But it’s not one-sided, not just by chance,
It’s a two-way rhythm, a divine dance.
We must engage, we must draw near,
Seek His face, shed every fear.

It’s more than just words or letters online,
It’s being in His presence, seeking His sign.
No manipulation, no hollow disguise,
Just a heart that surrenders and truth that complies.

As we discipline ourselves in His light,
Being still in His presence, day and night,
The covenant activates, His peace takes hold,
Guarding our hearts, making us bold.

A peace that surpasses all that we know,
That guards the mind, and makes the spirit glow.
It anchors the soul in the midst of the storm,
And shelters our hearts, keeping them warm.

So build the bond, make the effort true,
Just as in friendships, this is for you.
Show your love in your presence and prayer,
In every moment, show that you care.

For the covenant of peace is more than a word,
It’s a promise fulfilled when the heart is stirred.
A connection with God, a bond that won’t cease,
When you walk in His love, you’ll know His peace.

Though the earth may shake and the heavens change,
His covenant of peace will still remain.
And as you live in Christ, trusting and free,
His peace will guard you, eternally.
