Deep Sleep Instructions (Poem)

As extensions of Yahweh, ambassadors for Christ,

We walk with the Spirit; in His wisdom, we’re enticed.

Led by the Spirit, our steps are divine,

In the world’s complexities, He gives us the sign.

The Holy Spirit speaks in ways profound,

In whispers of silence, where truth is found.

God knows our frailties in this world so vast,

And He’ll go to great lengths to guide us fast.

In dreams of the night, when deep sleep calls,

When slumber wraps us and darkness falls,

Then He opens our ears, in the still of the night,

Sealing instructions with heavenly light.

It might happen on a bus, train, or in a parked car,

What seems like a nap is a journey afar.

He puts us in slumber, so deep and so clear,

And whispers His will directly to our ears.

We may not grasp it with our waking mind,

But our soul and Spirit know they’re not confined.

They carry the message, they follow the plan,

Guided by the hand of the Great I Am.

In the quiet of slumber, He speaks to our souls,

Giving us purpose, making us whole.

So when deep sleep falls, know it’s not by chance,

It’s God giving instructions in a divine dance.

So rest in His presence, let go, and be still,

For the Spirit of God is doing His will.

In a deep sleep, He’ll guide; in dreams, He’ll lead,

For we are His vessels, His word we’ll heed.
