Do Good (Poem)

Come out of darkness into the light,
It’s never too late to join the fight.
Against the wrong, for what is right,
To lift the soul to a greater height.

In acts of kindness, in love’s pure deed,
We find the favor and plant the seed.
A world transformed by a gentle hand,
A better place, on solid land.

The path of good, though steep and long,
It is filled with hope, with joy, with song.
For in the doing, hearts are strong,
In unity, where we belong.

So heed the call, let kindness lead,
In every thought, in every deed.
For those who do good, in word and action,
Find favor, peace, and satisfaction.

Come out of shadows, into the day,
Where love’s bright light shows the way.
It’s not too late to make the switch,
From darkness to light, from poor to rich.

In richness of heart, in wealth of soul,
Doing good, making broken whole.
This is the journey, this is the role,
For those who seek life’s truest goal.
