Don’t be Used and Controlled by the Wicked (Poem)

Don’t be used and controlled by the wicked,

In a world where morals are easily hidden.

So-called powers that be, will push you to stray,

Make you do wrong, lead you away.

They’ll tell you lies, offer a tempting deal,

But remember, their promises aren’t real.

They’ll leave you in the dark, disappear from sight,

When justice comes knocking in the dead of night.

For though we live in this world of flesh,

We battle not with things seen or fresh.

The weapons we wield are strong and divine,

To pull down strongholds and break every line.

Don’t be fooled by their promises of gold,

When the law hunts you down, they’ll grow cold.

As MJ said, they don’t care about us,

So don’t let them lead you, don’t make a fuss.

We are Children of the Divine, unafraid,

Standing firm on the truth that God made.

Though wicked forces may come our way,

We stand with the Almighty; we won’t sway.

Our weapons are spiritual, not of this earth,

Filled with divine power, showing our worth.

We cast down lies and every deceit,

And bring every thought to Christ’s feet.

So don’t be used, don’t let them control,

Hold fast to your values, and guard your soul.

For we are extensions of Yahweh’s name,

And we live for the truth, not for worldly fame.

Do not let money lead you astray,

Or blind you to the righteous way.

For, in the end, it’s the Divine who’ll win,

Stay true, stay strong, and don’t let sin in.
