Don’t Judge the Book (Poem)

Don’t judge the book; its cover may deceive,
Communicate, unravel, let understanding weave.
I shield my light, a deliberate stance,
Speak with me, or watch me advance.

Chosen light can’t dance with the dark,
Compromise not, on this purpose, embark.
An old soul, knowing secrets untold,
Originality within, stories unfold.

God’s treasure within, for ultimate pleasure,
Don’t call me different; I’m a unique measure.
Judging what you haven’t read,
A new chapter, spiritually fed.

Led by the Spirit, every step I tread,
Don’t judge the book; my story’s not dead.
Inside is where God looks, beyond the skin,
A new chapter begins; let the journey begin.
