Don’t Keep Me Guessing (Poem)

Life’s lessons have taught me well,

Boundaries set where I choose to dwell.

I need to know what’s on your mind,

I don’t let folks close unless their heart’s aligned.

I’ve walked the paths, been around the block,

Seen the games, heard the talk.

I’m a straight shooter with no time for deceit,

I seek the truth in those I meet.

So don’t keep me guessing, don’t leave me blind,

Let me know your thoughts and your intentions in kind.

I face enough battles in the spiritual realm,

So I guard my space, I steer my helm.

I’m focused on what I’m here to do,

In this world of chaos, I stay true.

So, if you’re here, be clear and real,

Don’t keep me guessing, just let me feel.

I connect with those who share my way,

Who walk in the light, who choose to stay.

So speak your mind, don’t hide the truth,

I’m here for a purpose; I have no time to lose.

Don’t keep me guessing, I need to know,

Are you here to stay, or just a passing show?

Let’s walk in clarity, let’s walk in light,

For I’ve got my mission, and I’m holding it tight.
