Faithful to the Assignment (Poem)

Faithful to the Assignment, we stand,
When divinity reveals our life’s grand plan,
Enduring to the end, unwavering, strong,
In the face of trials, where we belong.

Babylonian systems, we won’t embrace,
No compromise with darkness, not a trace,
As light workers, earth angels, we are,
Spreading God’s love like a shining star.

In a fallen world where shadows persist,
We bring God’s light in the darkness, we insist,
Sometimes, our purpose, revealed in due time,
When we’re spiritually mature, in darkness, we’ll shine.

Persecutions may come, part of the way,
We follow our Master, Christ’s example each day,
For we’re not greater, as humbly we tread,
In His footsteps, where our faith is spread.

God tests our hearts and our minds. He probes,
When we’re lost to the Holy Spirit, we enclose,
He speaks when we call, in our moments of need,
His mercy and faithfulness in us they breed.

So blessed be His Holy Name, we declare,
In His service, we stand in love and prayer,
Faithful to the Assignment until the end,
Guided by His light, our eternal friend.

Faithful followers of Jesus Christ watch and pray – we are in dark times. Trust NO-ONE until they show themselves trustworthy. They must earn our TRUST.
