God’s Purpose Will Prevail (Poem)

All things work together for the good,

For those who love God, as they should.

Called according to His divine plan,

In His purpose, we firmly stand.

So keep pushing through the night,

Against the dark, we fight the fight.

The wicked kingdom attacks,

But all power belongs to God; that’s a fact.

No weapon formed shall prosper here,

Though we feel pain, we have no fear.

The weapon will fail, it’s doomed to fall,

For God’s purpose will prevail over all.

Our duty is to walk with God,

Despising the abomination of sodomy.

Love God with all your heart and soul, you and me

In His presence, we are made whole.

Like the Hebrew boys in the furnace flame,

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego by name.

Like the prophet in the lion’s den,

We never bow to evil men.

God’s purpose shines through every trial,

His strength carries us mile by mile.

In faith, we stand, and we will hail,

For God’s purpose will always prevail.
