Hearts Revealed (Poem)

In the quiet moments of prayer, we kneel,

 Asking the Lord to reveal what’s concealed.

 For in this world where masks we wear,

 The truth behind smiles often lies bare.

Don’t rush into friendship’s embrace,

 Study the hearts, discern with grace. 

For hidden enemies may reside,

 In the shadows where intentions hide.

Emotional intelligence, a guiding light, 

To read the energy, to discern wrong from right.

 Spiritual beings with eyes that see,

 Can sense the truth in every plea.

So be wise and heed the call, 

To seek the truth before we fall.

 Ask for hearts to be revealed,

 Before bonds are sealed before love is sealed.

Save yourself from needless pain,

 In discernment, true peace you’ll gain.

 For in the revelation of hearts concealed, 

We find the wisdom to never yield.

So let us pray for hearts to be laid bare, 

Before we trust, before we dare. 

For in the truth, we find our peace,

 And from unnecessary pain, we find release.
