Hydrated Soul (Poem)

In the journey of my life, I reflect,
On the paths I’ve trodden, the steps I’ve met.
You, O Lord, have led me along the way,
In Your presence, I’ve found my stay.

Walking with You, the only choice I’ve known,
In Your guidance, my seeds were sown.
You’ve quenched my soul’s deepest thirst,
With Your love, my spirit is immersed.

No longer do I wander, lost and dry,
For in Your presence, joy draws nigh.
Though loneliness may sometimes creep,
Your goodness, O Lord, runs deep.

You’ve hydrated my soul time and again,
In Your love, I find my refrain.
Through every trial, every strain,
You’ve watered my soul in the pouring rain.

In Your presence, I find my rest,
Where my soul is truly blessed.
You’ve watered, You’ve quenched, You’ve filled,
In Your love, my heart is stilled.

So as I journey onward, day by day,
I’ll walk with You, come what may.
Hydrated soul, by Your grace divine,
In Your presence, I’ll forever shine.
