If He were a Prophet……

If a Christian is spirit filled and spends quality time in God’s presence, things are revealed to such individual. However God may not immediately reveal information, sometimes God could hold some info back based on His divine wisdom.

Another important point is that sometimes God reveals things to His servant/messenger and God instructs His messenger not to share it until He – God says so.

Looking at Luke 7: 36-39.

When one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with him, he went to the Pharisee’s house and reclined at the table. 37 A woman in that town who lived a sinful life learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee’s house, so she came there with an alabaster jar of perfume. 38 As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them.

39 When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is—that she is a sinner.”

Jesus knew who the alabaster woman was, but He had mercy on her, The Pharisee knew Jesus was a Prophet and expected Him to know the type of people around Him.

At any point in time, we have people of light or darkness around us, we also have people of darkness that hide behind the light( Synagogue of Satan ).

Jesus put it this way ” For nothing is secret that will not be revealed nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light. Luke 8:17.

All I can say is Repent, you can’t mix darkness with light.

I close in saying ” This Man if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is…..

Jesus Christ is Lord, the Saviour & Light of the world.
