Intentional (Poem)

In life, we must be intentional,

For desires and purpose aren’t handed to us,

We chase them, fierce and rational,

In pursuit, we must trust.

Motivation gets us started,

A spark that lights the flame,

But habits keep us going, uncharted,

In this deliberate game.

Let’s be intentional, with every step we take,

Forming good habits, in every move we make.

Habit formation, a process so precise,

Turning behaviors automatically as we rise.

Habits can form without intent,

Sneaking in without consent.

But with purpose, they can be made,

Or eliminated if they start to fade.

Let’s get rid of what holds us back,

The bad habits, the confidence they lack.

And cultivate those that make us strong,

Guiding us where we belong.

Our future starts now, in this very hour,

With intentional action, we find our power.

So let’s be mindful in forming our ways,

Building a life that truly conveys.

That we are intentional, in thought and deed,

Sowing good habits, planting each seed.

For in this journey, we control our fate,

With intention, we create.
