In the realm of nations, where borders align,
A tale unfolds of a nation’s design.
International law, a fragile thread,
Yet, there’s a law that transcends what’s said.
You can break the treaties, the pacts, and the rest,
But spiritual law puts you to the test.
It’s not about religions; it’s about the heart,
A call for compassion, a brand new start.
In the ancient tales, in scrolls of old,
A story of a king, his tale is told.
Saul, a ruler who broke the accord,
He attacked the Gibeonites, his actions abhorred.
A treaty once signed, in days long past,
Now shattered like glass, broken at last.
The land felt the weight, a famine’s cold grip,
A consequence dire, a blood-stained slip.
David, a king with questions so deep,
Inquired of God, the silence to sweep.
“It’s Saul,” said the Lord, “his blood-stained kin,
For Gibeonites’ death, a tale of sin.”
To end the famine, to heal the land,
Saul’s kin offered a painful demand.
Seven lives were taken to settle the score,
The spiritual law demands much more.
In the tapestry of nations, a lesson to find,
Breaking international law is a dangerous bind.
But beyond the borders, where spirits take flight,
Spiritual law reigns in the day and the night.
Compassion is needed; a leader must rise,
To mend broken treaties under starlit skies.
For humanity calls, it beckons us near,
To respect one another, to quell every fear.
So remember, O nation, as you wield your might,
International lawbreaker, beware of the light.
For in the realm of the spirit, justice prevails,
A timeless law, as the old tale entails.
