It’s Full Time..

In life, there are particular tasks that we do full time, part time, or just by the side( maybe in our spare time)

When God calls a person to walk with Him, it can’t be part-time or something we do for 2 hours or 45 minutes on Sunday, it’s a full-time JOB.

It’s more challenging to walk with God when a person has other commitments. Such as a full-time job, but even this can have its advantages, I know it certainly has disadvantages. However, this is when we lean on God’s Grace, and Franklin D. Roosevelt’s put it this way “a smooth sea never made a skilled sailor.”

There is no book or manual to teach us how to walk with God; only the Holy Spirit can do this.

This close relationship with our Heavenly Father via the Holy Ghost brings about a Peace, Confidence & Boldness. It’s not anything we do, it just the result of having a right standing with God. These characters can also be named by-products of our relationship with God.

When one is in this state of consciousness, hearing from God is constant, the Holy Spirit is continuously working on our behalf without us knowing, only to be revealed to us later.

Psalm 91 verse 1, perfectly states this by saying, He that dwells in the secret place of the Most High God, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Also the verse in Psalm 34:8, that says Taste & See, that God is Good. The meaning of this verse to me is being in God my Father Presence, which is an indeed a sweet place.

I don’t think people naturally choose to walk with God, but instead, they are ordained to walk with God, before the foundation of the World. ( Set apart by God HimSelf to live a Holy Life)

Walking with God is nothing one can take credit for, it merely the Grace of God, & God’s Spirit in a person doing the work.

When we walk with God even though our circumstance may not indicate it, inside of us, we can honestly say He is a Good Good Father.

Finally, as I pounder & observe our world and what’s going on in it, John 6.44 comes to mind: No one can come to Jesus unless the Father draws the person.

Another Bible verse is John 15:16, You didn’t choose me I chose you.

“May the Lord bless you and keep you;
May Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
May Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace. Amen.

Until Next time Keep Believing, Keep Hoping & Keep Loving.

Peace. Daniel
