The Lord sent a mighty wind, breaking rocks into pieces,

Then came the earthquake’s shake, and a fire was released.

But His voice was in none of them, not the power, not the blaze,

It was in the still, small voice, a gentle whisper through the haze.

If you want to hear from God, draw close, be still and pray,

In the quiet of His presence, He will show the way.

It’s the still, small voice that God speaks,

In the silence, where His love we seek.

In the moments when we’re alone,

In His whisper, His will is shown.

When we fast, our hearts are open to hear His sacred voice,

It’s in those humble, quiet times we make a choice

Manipulation fills the world, messages aimed to deceive,

But in the still small voice of God, we find the truth to believe.

God can use any voice to speak, but test the spirit’s sound,

Does it resonate deep inside? Has wisdom been found?

It’s the still, small voice that God speaks,

In the silence, where His love we seek.

In the moments when we’re alone,

In His whisper, His will is shown.

Don’t let people use and abuse you, learn from the past,

Please don’t return to those who hurt you; their lies won’t last.

Be alert to the Holy Spirit’s voice; in the stillness, He’ll be found,

A gentle whisper guiding you, where true love is profound.

In the silence, where His love we seek.

Be still and listen close, in prayer and solitude,
