Jezebel Spirit (Song)

(Verse 1) In ancient tales of hate and spite, A spirit dark, Jezebel’s might, She sought control, to manipulate and deceive, A queen so cruel, in the web she’d weave.
In First and Second Kings, her story unfolds A power within, the darkness it holds, But we fight not flesh, the Bible’s truth we find, ‘Tis spiritual wickedness, the battle of the mind.

(Chorus) Jezebel spirit, lurking in the night, Manipulation, control, its dark delight, Vanity, hatred, seeking attention’s fire, In the shadow of its lust, souls it’ll mire.

(Verse 2) In these modern days, it’s still around; in many forms, its evil is unbound; through women and men, it seeks to enthrall A sinister force aiming to make you fall.
For women, it emasculates, wants to rule, With manipulation’s dance, it plays it cool, Using Sex as a weapon, to maintain its grasp, A tangled web of control, in shadows, it’ll clasp.
For men, it’ll use fear to isolate and control; with threats and darkness, it’ll take its toll, One moment mean, the next with tears, A tactic to manipulate, to feed its fears.

(Chorus) Jezebel spirit, lurking in the night, Manipulation, control, its dark delight, Vanity, hatred, seeking attention’s fire, In the shadow of its lust, souls it’ll mire.

(Bridge) Attention, worship, its cravings demand, Delusions of grandeur, it wants to command, Preying on the weak, to dominate and reign, Leadership it craves, to satisfy its vain.

(Verse 3) It takes advantage for personal gain, Then discards when no longer in the chain; confrontation makes it combative and sly, Gaslighting, twisting words, and making others cry.
Purity it disdains, making all things perverse; Sex for self-gratification, it’ll coerce; Promiscuity its path, no care for another’s need; initiating and manipulating, planting the dark seed.

(Chorus) Jezebel spirit, lurking in the night, Manipulation, control, its dark delight, Vanity, hatred, seeking attention’s fire, In the shadow of its lust, souls it’ll mire.

(Outro) In Revelation’s pages, its seductive tale, Teaching God’s servants, causing them to fail, A tactic to defile, to transfer its vice, But remember, there’s hope in Jesus’ sacrifice.

When you see these traits in someone’s soul, Know it’s the Jezebel spirit taking its toll, Pray against it for the person, pray, Turn to Jesus’ love, and find the righteous way.
