It’s often said without revelation from the word of God, the full understanding of scripture can’t be comprehended.
There is head knowledge and heart knowledge of the Word of God; it’s the heart knowledge, also can be called insight or revelation that brings change.
Also to get the heart knowledge about Jesus (revelation) often God has to take us through a situation, then He drops insight of His Precious Word in our spirit. I have seen Him do this in my life, and am sure He does with other people too.
Looking back at the life of Apostle Paul, one of the reasons he had so much revelation, is because he suffered the most among all the other Apostles. It is in the suffering God revealed things to him. Yes, I know that he prayed in tongues more than others around him at the time, but I firmly believe those who know more about the Kingdom of Jesus Christ than others is in relation to what such person faces and encounters in life.
Education such as Bible college and seminary are good, but they often result in head knowledge, -which has its place. However, heart knowledge is where the transformation takes place.
The enemy ( Kingdom of darkness, Satan ) will try to stop God’s children from genuine revelation, as this exposes his inferior power as compared to the higher POWER of God in a real Christian. ( not all so-called Christians are real and true.)
It’s by revelation we can truly comprehend what took place in Calvary 2000 years ago. What I find interesting is how the Holy Spirit takes His time in giving us this insight, He never rushes us.
When we truly know Jesus from the heart, we want to see our walk, spiritual journey to the very end, it’s kind of like an adventure, and one can often find themselves even imagining about Heaven.
My most significant achievement to date is the amazing grace given to me to know Jesus Christ as my LORD and Saviour. He is indeed the Saviour of the world.
Spiritual attacks draw us closer to God and His light, and I can say I am a PROUD follower of my LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST.
Until Next time, Keep Believing, Keep Hoping & Keep Loving.
Peace Daniel
