Lasting Feeling (Poem)

In the realm of love, so deep and consuming,
Yet I tether my heart, calmly assuming,
That fate will weave its intricate lace,
In the dance of destiny, we find our place.

A bond that transcends from realms above,
Our spirits entwined in the art of love,
A moment in time, in your presence, I yearn,
For the whispers of your soul, for which I burn.

To hear your heart’s song, its rhythm, its plea,
To unlock the chains, set your spirit free,
Some mysteries in life remain unexplained,
While others unravel through time’s domain.

So, with a tender embrace and a kiss so kind,
I cherish this feeling that refuses to unwind,
In the warmth of your arms, my heart finds its way,
For this love, this feeling fervently wishes to stay.
