Lion’s Den (Poem)

In life’s battles, I’ll always give my best,
To folks who aren’t kind, putting me to the test.
Plotting and scheming in a world so unkind,
Watching and waiting, no trust I can find.

A prayer to God for a few loyal hearts,
In a world full of agendas, where trust departs.
Evil intentions revealed I stand clear,
In the lion’s den, where battles draw near.

Many battles fought made me strong,
Through trials and tribulations, a journey long.
Demanding 100 percent loyalty or take a hike,
Jump on your bike; it’s loyalty I like.

God didn’t send me here without aid,
Angels protecting in battles well-played.
Demons may linger, but angels take flight,
In the lion’s den, where I stand and fight.

Mind on my mission, mission on my mind,
Everything else is secondary; destiny, I find.
It took time; enemies are now known,
In this harsh reality, I’ve grown.

Zombies and devils, agents of the dark,
Beware, my angels will embark.
Testing hearts and minds, a prerequisite,
Agents of the dark, I won’t permit.

Blessings and glory stolen, transferred away,
I take them back, a million-fold display.
Doing God’s will, a truth to be told,
Agents of darkness, your fate unfolds.

Delilah and Jezebel, keep your distance,
Only a pure-hearted girl in my existence.
Abominable Adam and Steve, shame on you,
It’s yin and yang, the Divine’s will true.

When I come forth, you better flee,
For the Divine’s will, the truth to see.
In the lion’s den, where battles blaze,
I stand strong, through life’s intricate maze
