Love your neighbour as yourself; this is the royal law
That God has given us to follow, not to break or flaw
But if you judge by outward looks, you sin and disobey
You are a lawbreaker, not a keeper, so the Scriptures say

Do not kill the innocent, the babies, and the old
The journalists who seek the truth, the parents who uphold
The rights and dignity of all; they are not your prey
They are your neighbours, not your foes, so love them as you may

For judgment is relentless to the one who shows no grace
But mercy triumphs over judgment in the human race
So let us love our neighbours as ourselves and do them good
For this is the royal law of God, and this is what we should
