Loyal Heart (Poem)

In dealings with others, a principle held, By the measure of word, trust shall be quelled, Not rumors or tales, but actions that speak, For Loyalty’s worth, in bonds that we seek.

Not by hearsay’s breeze, nor whispers that float, Do relationships blossom, a sincere oath, Loyalty’s currency, a treasure defined, Without it, connection’s true value declined.

Loyalty’s echo, a song that we sing, A bond that is mutual, its praises we bring; the Lord, in His Word, sets the standard so high, So we strive to ensure our hearts never lie.

“For the eyes of the Lord,” as His gaze sweeps the earth, He seeks hearts loyal to Him, of infinite worth, A devotion profound, a commitment so rare, He shows His strength to those who truly care.

With Loyalty’s banner, we stand in the fray, For the faith we hold dear, we won’t cast away; as we lift our eyes up to Heaven’s expanse, Our Loyalty’s shield, we raise in advance.

An allegiance pledged to the Lord Jesus, our guide, He connects us to Heaven, in Him we confide, The access to God, through His grace we are known, In His love and His truth, we’ve firmly grown.

To one Master alone, our Loyalty bends, In devotion to Christ, our Savior, and friend, The only One worthy of worship and praise, In His presence, our hearts find their rightful place.

So, let Loyalty reign in relationships near, An unspoken promise that banishes fear, For the Good Lord above, faithful and just, In our loyal hearts, He places His trust.
