Why we must seek the Kingdom First.

One of the most popular verses in the Bible apart from John 3:16, Is Matthew 6:33, 6 is the number of man/woman, and 33 is a master number ( teacher of numbers).

Matthew 6:33, Says seek first the Kingdom of God first and it’s righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

To me, the importance of this is that once we seek the Kingdom of God, the heavenly host gives us a glimpse into heaven.

It’s a feeling that we are close to God, and this world when we are in the Zone ( in the spirit)becomes very small and shallow.

When we can deeply sense the Kingdom, we can understand Apostle Paul’s experience in Philippians 1:22-24.

As I ponder and Pray for victims of what has happened in Northern California, 17 people dead, 2000 homes and businesses destroyed, I realize that the most significant test in life is when everything is taken away from a person, and you have to start all over again.

Just like Job in the Bible, if a person hasn’t sought the kingdom of God first, and has had a glimpse into the heavenly realm such tragedy could destroy a person.

We should treasure what we have and be thankful, but we should never get too attached to the things of this world. In as much as no one prays for bad things to happen, sometimes they do.

Such occurrence as we see in the Book of Job, in the Bible do happen.
Also, the person who wrote the famous hymn “It is well with my soul” had a similar tragedy in his life, but as we mature in the Lord, we have to understand that nothing can separate us from the Love of God.

We don’t see the whole picture, God might reveal some things to us, but we still can’t comprehend it all, therefore without revelation, it might be hard to understand that absolutely nothing can separate us from God’s Love.

Jesus’s disciples couldn’t understand, the purpose of good Friday at the time, but on Easter Sunday and the day of Pentecost they had a better understanding. The ways and thoughts of God are so much higher than what we could ever imagine.

We just have to trust His word that all things will work out together for good for those that Love the Lord and are called according to His purpose as we pray in our spiritual language.

To walk with God is not easy, but the adventure and knowing that the creator of the Heavens and Earth is with us, and we will spend eternity with Him, and one day we will see our heroes and characters of the Bible, I would say is an excellent deal.

So let us all pray for the victims of the horrible wildfire in California, that might of lost everything and have to start all over again. Let’s have compassion, ask God to give them strength to endure the loss and pain of it all.

Until next time, Keep Believing, Keep Hoping & Keep Loving.

Peace. Daniel.
