Jerusalema – God’s Universal Love.
Jerusalema, a sensational worldwide song as it comes with a special dance, has been performed globally.
I heard it for the first time today, so I researched where the song originated.
The song was written and produced by a South African DJ / producer, Master KG, and vocals from Nomcebo.
I had seen the video clip on my page for a while now, but I never watched it until today.
From my research Master KG, felt like making a spiritual song, and he emphasized this to the vocalist Nomcebo on the theme when they were writing the lyrics.
As a Christian, I love Israel, Jerusalem, etc., as I know their history, and these names I come across often as I read my daily scriptures. There is also a promise in Psalm 122.6 “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem:
“May they prosper who love you [holy city]. So I pray for the peace of Jerusalem virtually every day, and I believe God for the promise attached to the command.
So I listened to the song, and I could feel my spirit / soul transcending in the music also in the dance, then I checked the translation of the lyrics as it is sung in Zulu, a South African language.
Jerusalem, my home.
Rescue me,
Join me,
Don’t leave me here!
My place is not here,
My kingdom is not here,
Rescue me!
Come with me!
Save me, save me, save me,
Don’t leave me here,
Jerusalem is the Holy City, the capital of the ancient kingdom of Judah and the modern state of Israel. The name means “city of peace.” Jerusalem is often called Zion; the name “Shalem”, whether as a town or a deity, is derived from the same root Š-L-M as the word “shalom”, meaning peace (Wikipedia)
This song is the pandemic love song from God, in my opinion, as the dance challenge has been embraced around the world.
God is and always be Love, as this is the vibe I picked up from watching people dancing, am not a dancer, but I appreciate all form of art as it helps us transcend to higher dimension and consciousness.
I saw beams of light on the faces of those dancing to Jerusalema; I could not help but wonder what they felt as they danced in one accord to beats and lyrics of the song from Zulu, South African, that has Blessed the world and has bought us all together as one.
In a world plaque by darkness/witchcraft, I found solace in listening to this song and the dance challenges around the world, as I often feel I do not belong to this world, attacked 24/7 by evil people of the Kingdom of darkness, as the lyrics says my kingdom is not here.
The Bible tells of the New Jerusalem, the future home for those who believe in Jesus Christ, a place of no darkness (no witchcraft, dark magic, and sorcery, etc., just the pure glory of God. I look forward to my real home, what a glorious day that would be the New Jerusalem.
Remember Jesus Christ is the Light & Saviour of the World.
God Bless
Until Next time, Keep Believing, Keep Hoping & Keep Loving.
