Take a stand. / Don’t be a Zombie

There are times in life when we have to take a stand. Sometimes when I feel frustrated by the religious’ & the world’s system and its injustice, I would listen to the music of the late legendary political activist artist Fela- Kuti.

What I liked about him was his boldness, and may I say there has never been an artist as brave as Fela Kuti; nothing was too big for him to say in his music; his lyrics were the truth of his Country’s corrupt affairs.

I never planned on writing about the late African artist. However, as a female tennis fan and a fan of Naomi Osaka, when I heard she withdrew from the French open, I pondered for a couple of minutes, then concluded that we have to take a stand for change to happen.

Having observed the number 1 rank female tennis player and four-time Grand Slam singles champion, I must say, her purpose is bigger than tennis. God gave her the gift of tennis as a platform, to be a voice for the voiceless. 

Naomi Osaka has been remarkable in taking a stand for Justice in today’s unjust world.

We all saw how the brave, the talented star used her platform to shine light on racial injustices with face masks in the US open, and Heaven rewarded her for her courage by being the winner of the last US Open. 

We have too many of the devil’s zombies controlled and used and don’t have a mind of their own. 

Jesus Christ came to set us free, but the same people He came to set free have sold out and are now bound by darkness and are now flipping Zombies.

 The legendary artist, late Fela Kuti, put it this way, Zombies only do what they are told to do; they don’t have a mind of the own. I have these Zombies around me 360 degrees. 

As a people, we need more of the Fela Kutis & Naomi Osakas and those that will take a stand for JUSTICE.

Well done Naomi, history has recorded your actions, and this will not be forgotten. At your young age, your voice for Justice has been the loudest that I have ever heard in your profession; keep up the excellent work.

Life is about caring for others – our fellow human race, valuing every life and realizing that every life matters and we are ALL created equal under God. 

 I have seen and keep seeing stuff in religion that is unbelievable; all I can say is that things are not right; I do not want to expose the action done to me by these folks, but please STOP tarnishing the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Your actions could allow weaker vessels to leave the faith.

Remember, the Lord sees it all, and we will all give an account for our actions.

“Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, and please the widow’s cause” (Isaiah 1:17). 

“He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8)

Remember Jesus Christ is the Light & Saviour of the World.
