Knowing God is with us.

In the natural we are close to a person when we have regular conversations, hanging out, etc.; the same is true with God, when we have regular dialogue with God via prayer, meditating in His Word, etc.

The fact that God is with us does not mean we will have a life on easy street; many times, it is the opposite- as we see in both the Old and New Testaments.

How do we have a balanced life and walk with God? Because as humans, there are other activities that we engage in and are not 24 – hours in God’s Presence.
Well, for starters, a need to have a regular time of devotion with the Lord (Bible reading and prayer) is essential.

During the day, one could use music (Christian) to sense the presence of the Holy Spirit; some pray in the Holy Ghost.

Another tool that we could use is the Rosary. I know the protestant Church will think otherwise, but from experience, I use it to connect to the higher place of the spirit/consciousness.

To those who do not believe in the Holy Rosary, when we pray the Rosary, we ask for extra praying help; we are NOT praying to Mother Mary but calling upon her and asking her to intercede for us. (I will have a blog about this in the future.)
For a person that senses that God’s hand is on them, then such people should try and practice God’s presence as much as possible.

The remnant must realize that most folks around them are the devil’s zombies, and these zombies have to obey the dictates of their master; some of them are cute, for remnants that appreciates female beauty be wise.

The enemy knows what a person likes, and he will try to use this likeness to gain access and to fulfill his plan and objective, but the enemy has failed and defeated, as he failed by nailing Jesus to the cross. Our Lord’s resurrection is the reason we are here today.

Therefore God’s servants must learn and be good in knowing how to suss out folks.

As Christians need that assurance that God is with us, why? Because as the Bible says, if God is for us, who can be against us.

Therefore, even if situations do not look as our flesh would want them to be or look, hey, God is with us, and all things work together for good for those that Love God and are called according to His purpose.

What got my attention during my recent devotion was 1 Chronicle 11.9 and Acts 7.10
In both verses, we see God was with David and Joseph.

We all know the stories of both these men of God; they both Loved God and would not compromise their faith as God was so REAL to them.
Even during the hard times, the assurance of God being with them gave them all the strength they needed at any point in time.
When we draw need to God, He always draws near to us, even in our imperfection as He knows that we are but dust; however, we always should confess our shortcomings and ask for His Mercy and Grace.

No missing of the mark from man can catch God by surprise; God forgives, a man may not forgive, but God does.
However, the great NO NO with God is serving or using another power.
It is like being in a loving relationship (Husband and wife), and a party cheated.

In other words, a person that uses other powers that are not from God has forsaken God, and God will automatically forsake such people.
In backing this up, let’s read 2 Chronicles 15. 1-2
Now the Spirit of God came on Azariah, the son of Oded, and he went out to meet Asa and said to him, “Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin: the Lord is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him [inquiring for and of Him, as your soul’s first necessity], He will let you find Him; but if you abandon (turn away from) Him, He will abandon (turn away from) you.

A person abandons God by seeking and using other powers (satan’s power). The choice is yours, for God cannot be mocked.

We also see from the verse God lets us find Him when we seek, and when we Love Him, He is never far away, even in unpleasant circumstances.

Remember Jesus Christ is the Light & Saviour of the World.
