Mystery Lady (Poem)

There’s a mystery and excitement that stirs deep inside,

No other lady does this to me, no matter how I’ve tried.

What is it about you that keeps me guessing all day?

I try to figure it out, but you keep slipping away.

Mystery Lady, who are you? I need to know,

You’re a puzzle I can’t solve, yet I can’t let you go.

There’s a spirit of excitement every time you’re near,

Who are you, lady? Please make it clear.

Do I know you from a different lifetime before?

Or is it your charm that leaves me wanting more?

Did you cast a love spell that’s captured my heart?

Only time will tell, but you’ve played your part.

Mystery Lady, my mind runs wild,

Imagination soars like a dream unfiled.

But then I open my eyes, and reality takes hold,

Yet the power of love and mystery never grows old.

I want to thank you for the spark you’ve ignited,

For the inspiration you’ve so subtly provided.

In every thought, in every word I write,

You’re the mystery that keeps my soul alight.
