Numbers speak Volumes (Poem)

In the face of despair, when hope starts to wane,
Look to the numbers; let them tell their own tale.
Tens of thousands rising against genocide’s cruel hand,
A collective voice, a protest, across the land.
Numbers don’t lie; they stand firm and true,
Echoing the outrage, the world feels too.
In the face of evil, goodness prevails,
A testament to humanity as compassion sails.
Thankful for the good, outnumbering the bad,
A resounding message, a relief to be had.
Politicians talk, but actions are few,
It’s the people united whose strength breaks through.
Proud of the masses, standing hand in hand,
A force for justice across the vast expanse.
Blessings upon those who raise their voice,
Against injustice, they make a powerful choice.
Western leaders listen to the crowd’s roar,
History’s judgment is knocking at your door.
On the wrong side, it’s time to retrace,
For the people, find a righteous embrace.
These numbers, like a symphony, play,
A melody of truth, no words can sway.
Ceasefire, a plea echoed in every shout,
The world demands peace, without a doubt.
Children, mothers, fathers, their cries,
Bombed churches and hospitals under sorrowful skies.
Those who supply the weapons of despair,
How did you falter? How did you err?
The majority knows right from wrong,
In unity, they stand united and strong.
Let the demonstrating numbers resound,
In the pursuit of justice, on solid ground.
