Oh, What God Has Done! (Poem)

Kingdom of darkness, agents of the night,

Relentless in their quest, attacking children of the light.

Yet as we activate the Word, our strength does not wane,

For though we feel discomfort, in Christ, we remain.

No weapon formed against us shall ever prevail,

For in His mighty power, we shall not fail.

Complete in Christ, the head of all,

Over every rule and power, we stand tall.

No sorcery against the chosen, no divination’s claim,

For God’s children walk in victory, protected by His name.

It was known to Balaam; he spoke it clear and bright,

That sorcery is futile against the children of the light.

Balak sought to harm them with magic and with spells,

But found his efforts useless, for in God’s care they dwell.

Neither enchanter nor soothsayer, with all their darkened art,

Can ever harm the faithful, who trust God with their heart.

Followers of Christ, peculiar in His care,

Under His protection, we are always there.

So to the kingdom of darkness and the devil’s throng,

Hear now and forever this triumphant song.

Oh, what God has done, let it be said aloud,

His children are victorious; in Him, we are proud.

No force of hell can touch us, no power of the grave,

For in the light of Jesus, we are eternally saved.

So let it be known, among the darkened lands,

That God’s light is brighter and stronger than the sands.

Of time and the ages, His truth will always stand,

Oh, what God has done is in His mighty hand.

Kingdom of darkness, tremble and retreat,

For God’s children rise, and you face defeat.

With Christ our protector, our victory is won,

Oh, what God has done, His will be done.
