Can a church be trusted when they don’t completely follow what’s in the Bible or teach everything the bible says?
In other words is your church fully proclaiming the Gospel of Christ? -Romans 15.19.
The fact that the teachings they refuse to teach would be beneficial to members of the congregation’s personal life. If it’s not being taught , unless you know what is not preached or taught and you put it into practice in your personal life, then you are missing out and disadvantaged.
I am not going to mention any particular aspect that’s not being taught, omitted or not followed, that’s up to us to know what’s in the Word of God. But the leaders need to search themselves, as they would receive stricter judgment according to the book of James 3.1.
I always wonder that should the example of our churches today be like the early church or does it need to be modified to the 21st-century church?, personally, I would say like the early church, as a lot of the churches today are corrupted and not pure.
Deciding when to stay or leave in a place of worship is personal, but if the current place of worship is not beneficial or you don’t agree with some of their code of practice, what is the point of staying.
If a person is confident of their relationship with the Lord and has a solid devotion to the Lord, then be careful and don’t rush choosing a place of worship as you can pray and worship God in your house. I know the bible says Don’t forsake the gathering of the brethren, (Hebrew 10.25), but isn’t it better to be safe than sorry, the bible said beware of false Prophets, ( Teachers, Preachers, and Churches) who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.
If we quote Hebrews 13.8 – Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever, and Spiritual truth does not change. Then a true Church can’t pick and choose but follow the example of the early church in the Acts of Apostles. It should not be about a denomination, but the full word of the Lord.
There should be zero tolerance if a church uses witchcraft on the congregation, such as stealing energy /power, evil deposit, and manipulation.
In the book of James, it says my brethren; let not many of you become teachers, knowing that teachers shall receive a stricter judgment.
Some Churches even mix the powers of light and darkness. That is not on. Jesus said, Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
Finally, it’s nothing personal; I am just a messenger.
Until Next time. Keep Believing, Keep Hoping & Keep Loving.
Peace. Daniel
