Our Delicate Soul (Poem)

Our delicate soul, on this earthly stage, Embarked on a mission in a timeless age, A covenant we made before we could remember; in the realm of time and space, our souls’ tender ember.

Our soul’s wisdom, profound and clear, Knows the purpose, why we’re here In a world where minds may falter and lose their goal; our soul’s the compass, the keeper of the whole.

Eternal, our soul, the body but a vessel. Through life’s trials and pain, we find the jewels to wrestle, To unite with our soul, the ultimate quest, A spiritual awakening, to our purpose; we’re pressed.

These times are indeed intriguing; the darkness seeks to bind, Snatching youth and adults, the lost they try to find, An agency of evil, growing with speed so vast, Yet even the children need a spiritual repast.

Man’s audacious play at God, a disturbing course, The devil’s agenda pushed, with unyielding force, In all areas, his plans persist and stay, Awakening the young, we must fervently pray.

Our souls are a sacred domain for God alone to hold; in the depths of our hearts, the truth unfolds; listen to your heart, heed its quiet call, Reflect on others’ motives, and let discernment fall.

Never trade your soul for transient wealth or gain, Material possessions, for which we toil in vain, For the soul’s eternal, transcending earthly strife, In the grand tapestry of existence, the essence of life.
