People of the Dark (Poem)

Today’s world feels like those days of old,
When Prophet Jeremiah warned, fierce and bold.
He called out to hearts hardened with pride,
Begging them, pleading, to turn and abide.
Yet they laughed at his words, ignored his cries,
Unaware of the wrath that would arise.
Oh, people of the dark, you’re playing with fire,
Messing with forces that never tire.
Siphoning power from chosen souls,
Crafting illusions to reach your goals.
You think you’re clever, cunning, and sly,
But the Creator of all sees through every lie.
The one who taught you those twisted ways,
Left out the truth in their shadowed haze—
If you come against God’s anointed, beware,
For darkness fades in His light’s glare.
You might think yourself mighty, bold and wise,
But against God’s power, your strength dies.
Back away now, turn from this path,
Or face the weight of Holy wrath.
For light can pierce through every veil,
And in the end, dark schemes will fail.
The time is short, the warning’s clear,
The Almighty sees, His justice near.
You’re too small to war with the Source of light,
So turn from the dark, and step into the right.

Faithful followers of Jesus Christ watch and pray – we are in dark times. Trust NO-ONE until they show themselves trustworthy. They must earn our TRUST.
