Power to Move On (Poem)

Some people dwell in shadows deep,
Their hearts are cold, their promises cheap.
They plot to steal, to harm, destroy,
Just like their master the devil, so avoid.
But truth prevails, as God reveals,
A way of escape, His love conceals.
The power to move on is not just strength,
It’s learning, growing, going the length.
To face the lies, accept the past,
To leave the dark, and rise up fast.
It’s a privilege to walk in light,
To choose the good, reject the night.
For some, the price is all they seek,
Hearts of stone, their souls are weak.
But when you stand in God’s embrace,
No darkness can take your place.
The light and dark will never blend,
Stay true to light, till the very end.
Life teaches lessons, some hard to bear,
But wisdom grows through what we share.
The younger souls, they need to see,
The strength it takes to rise and be free.
The world may not change overnight,
But we can strive to make it right.
Hold your power, keep it strong,
In truth and love, where you belong.
The power to move on is a sacred gift,
A chance to heal, to grow, to shift.
So walk in wisdom, face each dawn,
With faith in God—you’ll move on.
