Regulate to Magical Thinking (Poem)

All religions speak of it, the power of the mind,

As we think, so are we, in our thoughts, we find.

A path to a higher being, a light so brightly blinking,

This is the essence, the heart of magical thinking.

Regulate your thoughts to what is pure and true,

Whatever is noble, let it reside in you.

Finally, brothers and sisters, think on these things,

The virtues and praises that inner peace brings.

Whatever is right, whatever is just,

In these reflections, place your trust.

Whatever is lovely, whatever is pure,

In thoughts of grace, let your mind endure.

Philippians 4:8, a guide to our reflection,

To regulate our thoughts in a divine direction.

Center your mind on what is excellent and kind,

Implant these truths deeply in your mind.

Whatever is honorable, worthy of respect,

Let these thoughts grow; let them protect.

Whatever brings peace, whatever is sweet,

Let these be the rhythms; your heart beats.

In the pursuit of virtue, fix your mind’s gaze,

On all that is worthy, in wisdom’s maze.

This is the magic in thinking this way,

Regulate your thoughts, and let light lead your day.

Think continually about what is good and fair,

Let these be your compass in thought and prayer.

For in these reflections, your spirit will soar,

In the magic of thinking, you’ll find evermore.

So regulate your mind to magical thinking

In each thought of goodness, find your spirit linking.

With the divine and noble, the pure and the kind,

In the magic of thinking, true peace you will find.
