Showing the Children the way – Poem

In a world of selfish pursuits, I find a new decree, To think beyond my own desires and let the children see. For they are the future, the ones who’ll lead the way, So I must set an example in all I do and say.

I’ll lead them by example, a path they can pursue, To show them all the wonders of what their hearts can do. Their light should shine so brightly, untouched by worldly strife; I’ll guide them through the darkness to embrace a purposeful life.

With faith in the Almighty, I’ll walk the righteous path, To teach them love and kindness and make their spirits laugh. To hate what’s bad and evil and cherish all that’s good, I’ll show them God’s compassion in every neighbourhood.

I’ll tell them to love themselves, for they are wondrously made, To take responsibility for the choices they have laid. To do what’s right and just, to lend a helping hand, To bring out the best in them, to help them understand.

Each child is gifted with talents to explore; I’ll encourage their passions and open every door. For we’re all here for a reason, a purpose to fulfill, I’ll guide them to their calling with an unwavering will.

In the light, we’ll walk together on a path that’s pure and true, For what’s the world’s riches worth if it taints the soul anew? So, let’s lead the children forward towards a bright future; with love, compassion, and purpose, we’ll guide them through the night. ©

Faithful followers of Jesus Christ watch and pray – we are in dark times. Trust NO-ONE until they show themselves trustworthy. They must earn our TRUST.
